MapTex creator?

My new mod is going to be a Inca mod, and i need to have a complete new map. The LukMap is no problem (i'm pretty good at that), but i need a nice map of Central and South America.

Does anyone know a good map creator, or a good website were i can get maps of the world?

i've been looking for a while and all the maps i find have borders and country names(not to mention the panama cannel)

The problem with attempting to find auitable map images n the web for vairous games is that it's very difficult to find a map that has the same "look and feel" as the rest of the game.

Ok, many of the maps are quite simple but there is SO MUCH on this site I'm pretty sure you canfind something vaugely suitable.

Another option is to use a map from another, similar, game.
