Using Paladins' 1092 mod for the base {it's a good'un} I have had a blast . Byzantine Infantry are now 60 men with one extra Melee and two extra Honour {I like the units to match their descriptions} costing 200 florins , Naptha Throwers are 60 men per {weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee} costing 1000 florins {or 750 if Byzantine} and tre nasty on a hill http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif , Saracen Infantry have in battle 0/1 melee 4/8$ defence 5$ {or 4$ armour , can't remember at present , but is the same as the Byzantine Infantry} armour and 2 moral with diciplined and Byzantium builds them also {I liked how they used the same uniform as Byzant. inf. and wanted Byzantium to have a decent spear unit} , slow cavalry now runs at 16 and charges at 20 {12 and 16 were just far too slow for my tastes , no infantry should be able to catch running cavalry except in unusual circumstances or when the cavalry is completely exhausted} . Muwahid now are 100 per unit with 1 extra defense costing 300 , Sipahi are 40 per with 1 extra melee {they were very well trained and used very good equiptment} costing 750 .... hell I altered a lot .
Giskards' modding guide helped a lot once I decided I needed to alter provinces {to start with Syria needed Iron for building a Metalsmith - ever hear of Damascus Steel ?} .

I'm going to be crusing this forum a lot from now on http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
