Anyone Play Rise of Nations?

I'm playing Microsoft and Big Huge Games "Rise of Nations: Gold." Anyone else play rise of nations? :D

It's pretty interesting. You go from the Ancient age with sticks and stones to the Information age with stealth bombers. It's a lot of fun. :D

I used to play it. I think I still have the CD. I used to like to nuke my enemies. Not too many times though.

I must have played that for weeks on end when it came out, until I got tired of it. I like the grand strategy games ala EU or HoI a lot more, though RoN was great fun for what it was.

Think i still have my discs around... somewhere. :dizzy2:

I've been playing it lately. :D My old machine I ran M2TW on died on me. : /

And our replacement for the computer is far more underpowered. So I'm looking for older games to play.

Rise of Nations is like a sampler pack of RTS lol. You get all those ages, (Where most games only focus on one area.) Attrition, espionage, borders. It's a good game. :D

Not quite a substitute for my M2TW. But it's keeping me busy with something to do. Glad to know other people are familiar with it. :D
