View Full Version : Game says campaign completed, but I haven't fulfilled the victory conditions yet

I'm playing as Macedonia (on EB 1.2), and have taken most - but not all - of the provinces required in the victory conditions (that you get when clicking the questionmark button in the faction summary window):

And suddenly, after capturing Alexandreia, I get the victory screen. I haven't even taken a single province in Italy yet.

So my question is: are the victory conditions outdated, or is there something wrong with my game?

The victory conditions accessed by the question mark or the trait from your faction leader are the ones who count.

Please check your main menu if the right version number (1.2) is showed in the right bottom corner.
There is a de-activated side-quest for Makedonia in Alexandreia in the script, maybe this made it go wrong. However, should not be a problem to continue your problem.

Uhuh, it says 1.2 in the bottom corner ( left though, not right ;) ). I've installed the EB 1.2 mini-mod- pack and the city mod. Could those have anything to do with the problem?

I'm not sure I understand your last sentence "However, should not be a problem to continue your problem" (do you mean game?).

Will I get the victory screen again once I've taken the rest of the provinces? Not that it really matters, but it would still be nice to get that victory message :P

Thanks!

I'm not knowledgeable on Makedonia but perhaps those aren't provinces you need to own, but rather provinces you need to raid. Who knows? Plus, like XSamatan said, check the Question Mark V. Conditions feature: It's the real deal.

Oh, sorry Paltmull, it was late...

I mean game, for sure..;)

The mini-mod pack could have something to to with that issue, if there are no other bugs the game should be fine.
You won't get the victory message again IIRC, but you can see if you are missing provinces by using the question mark.

Ah, ok, thanks for the help. :)

Vartan: I know, that's what I did. And I haven't raided those cities either, so that can't be it.
