I have noticed this for a while now .
After a mod , namely a stat mod , the actions your army takes in a replay can alter dramatically , even to the point where a different choice of starting units {in a battle where you have reserves and cycled some before starting} .
After modding the range of naptha grenades slightly {up from 1300 to 1500} a replay of Kalka River had my cavalry doing things I never ordered {and rather dumb things at that} which I find very bizare given I did not mod them {cavalry} in any way after I fought/recorded that battle . My Naptha throwers still did mostly the same things {exterminating anything which tried to cross the central bridge} and though they were the modded unit , their behaviour was less altered in replay than the unmodded {post battle} cavalry .
