STARTUP CRASH! please help

Hi, me again...
So I've installed EB and it worked but I've installed the mod pack and some other minor submods and now when i launch EB I get the loading screen for a few seconds after witch I get a CTD...:help:

Of course, I have no backup, anymore that is. . .:oops:

Ok, I've "found" the problem but it seems I can't solve it...

this is the error that i get:

EB/data/export_descr_unit.txt at line 10227, column 27
could not find officer battle model for unit type 'roman infantry first legionary cohort'


please someone help me...I've been struggling with this installation for two full days now. . .

Seeing your other thread about start-up problems, is this here also solved? Installing submods can break your build if they are not compatible. I would go for a complete-reinstallation, afterwards you can apply submod after submod, be sure to start a campaign at least once before installing the next.

No. it's not solved. Im trying to solve it.
For what I see, the problem is in the mentioned unit, if that is fixed than I would be saved from reinstallation. . .

I doubt that its easy to identify the data required so the game will run. You would have to check every submod for its changes in the edu...just reinstall. Make yourself some backups, i.e. RTW patched to 1.5, RTW+EB 1.2, that spares you a good amount of time. I got 16 different versions of EB on my PC....
