ok to start off, my dad came back from a 13 day trip to israel with my younger bro, which means funtime is over for me and of course not an hour after he came back he starts criticizing me. not even an hour!

my first day of work was frustrating. my job is to revise/proofread a professors work, but when i looked it over, i couldnt find anything wrong, and im really good at english. a beautiful lady friend of mine who is working with me also said the same thing. so we spent three hours on a wild goose chase trying to find errors that werent there. and im not even going to be paid for today. i swear he had that thing proofread earlier or the grass aint green!

then in my ethics class i learned we have an essay due on friday.

and on the way home my car broke down.

when i got home i got an email from the director of academics of my High School saying that i have to take AP Stat next year, and i really dont want to.

and finally to top it all off i cant find the receipt for a stupid tie that i need to return to the store! :furious3:

oh lord help me! :wall: :sweatdrop:

Who cares if your dad criticises you? I only feel bad when I'm criticised if I know I've done something wrong anyway.

And how does your job work? They only pay you if you make corrections? Sounds like you need a real job, like KFC. :clown:

And why are you at school/uni in the summer?

I guess it is unlucky with the car though.

And nobody keeps receipts.

1) its really annoying when its not even an hour and hes already on your tail on some stupid thing. what happened is that i got a ride to the movies with a friend who doesnt have his 6 months yet (for those who dont know, in Georgia you need to wait 6 months after you get your drivers license before you can take a non-family member in the car with you). because of this my dad threatened to take away my drivers license, and now im angry.

2) i do whatever he tells me to do, were all basically his slaves. i know, it sucks.

3) the college near me offers a pre-college prgram, and because my dad is a professor there, i get in for free, so i might as well take advantage of it.

ROFLTOV!

This'll put Hooah down a level. His... unique... way of spelling is very, uh... unique. Random capitalizations seem to be a favourite of his.

I would add my woes to your list, but I don't want to make this thread more depressing. :tongue2:

My sympathies, though.

I'm really sorry to hear that. It's like losing your best friend.

As for the topic.

You think you've got problems now, wait until you grow up.

Yeah, no kidding. Especially with his English, it'll be bad. :eyebrows:

Where did you buy the tie at? If you bought it at JC Penney you can still return it, the only draw back is you'll get the lowest selling price in the last 30 days and your refund will be store credit. I'm sure other places accept returns without receipts as well.

And as for the more serious stuff: I bet you've realized this already as it's been a few days but things will get better, they always do.

If that's the case then why don't you post properly, with capitals in the correct place and with the correct grammar. No wonder your dad shouts at you. I would if you were mine.

Now do as you're told or go to bed. :laugh4:

As I said, I like to let go on these forums. And please tell me where I spelled anything wrong, otherwise I let my grammar go to hell.
