I don't know if it's my computer or what but I can't get xpack to work can someone make a video tutorial?

Hi drmiewlo, could you give a few more details? What doesn't work about it?

when I open it it comes up with a black screen with white letters and says press a key to continue I do and the text slides across the screen and it closes. I check the packs folder and nothing...

Ok, here's a few things to check:

xpax.exe and xpak.bat should be in Rome -Total War\data\packs
You should be running xpak.bat
Extracted files should appear in Rome -Total War\data\packs
