Pardon my ignorance, but could anyone point me in the direction of a list of all of the scripted events in the game please?
I mean things like the plea for help from the Crimean cities to Pontus etc...

I made a slight mistake; the Roman triumphs were not disabled. All the crossed out sections are disabled.

Because the Baktrian Independence, the Parthian Shahanshah, the Seleukid Anabasis and the Tomb of Alexander scripts didn't function that well, I'm afraid.

What exactly was the Seleukid Anabasis script? Was it reconquering lost provinces?Pretty much. It was about regaining Nisa, Khiva and Baktra. If you'd done that, you'd get a small message and a nice picture. The picture is still somewhere in there, I think. I'll look it up!

Baktria Independent
Messengers have just brought news of a battle that will undoubtedly have great consequences for us, sire. Centuries from now, this will either be remembered as the beginning stages of the creation of a new Baktrian kingdom or a foolish act of a rebellious satrap which caused immense grief and loss for his people. It will be difficult to resolve the situation diplomatically at this point, however. Our men and our generals in the field will have the final say, so let us hope that our first moves will be carefully planned. Their generals are capable, but we trust in your leadership and in our footmen and cavalry. Remember this day though, Basileus. If nothing else, you have been presented with an opportunity to show your tactical skill and battlefield might.

There is much trouble in Baktria, great king. This satrapy, located on the edges of our huge empire, has long been given much autonomy to better deal with the unique problems they face, most obviously the nomadic incursions from the north, but we have just received word that the satrap you yourself appointed has attacked our forces. We have long tolerated his growing insolence, primarily because of the power he and his soldiers wielded in keeping the nomads away, and we have even allowed him to mint coinage with his own name and image. We have allowed him some degree of autonomy as well in dealing with neighboring kingdoms and peoples. We thought these acts would serve us better, but it appears as though he has taken the final step. I'm sure you will agree that he and the captains who have joined him in this "rebellion" will pay the ultimate penalty for their hybris, but we must first organize our forces on our northeastern borders and strengthen our diplomatic ties with any other groups in the area who will help us with this internal matter.



Basileus Baktries!

Great ruler of the Oxos and the Paropamisoi. Today is truly a great day, but a dangerous one as well. Let it be recorded that today you finally threw off the last shackles of oppressive Seleukid rule and forged a new kingdom of Baktria. You have surely chosen the right moment to strike back against Seleukeia and liberate Baktria. They might not have expected this, but their soldiers across the east will soon be marshalled to attack us. Let us hope our first move gains us a sufficient advantage and deprives them of resources they might use to harm us. For now, we will rejoice and celebrate in the announcement, and Baktra itself, as well as all the stations of our nascent empire, will anxiously await further news from the front and the actions of the Seleukid king.

The historians will record today's date and may rank it among the foundation dates of any number of great civilizations. But it is a date that may just as easily be lost beneath the sands that surround the Baktrian desert oases. Baktria is fully independent as of this moment. What path this new kingdom takes will be decided no longer by a satrap but by a king. Cities across Baktria and her possessions rejoice today and in Seleukeia there is a great silence. The two may one day find common ground and restore good relations, but for now that path seems unlikely. Your decisions now, great Basileus, will determine how we will prosper from this point on, so think well upon them and upon whom we might now rely for strength as allies.

I think there was also an opposite one... I remember "visualization of the fall of the Seleucid Empire if it occurs" or sth like that... Don't know if this is it
