Does any1 know where I can grab a unit editor to make up some new units like changin there appearance and stats, etc

there's one in the downloads section, by lord gnome, get the current one ver 2 i think, it can do the unit, build, and projectile stats with it. it will alter stats, but not graphics, i believe lord wellingtond faq in the down loads will tell you how to do the graphics... make sure and bak up any files before playing around with them http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

The best (and quickest) advice I can offer is to go to "The Org's" downloads area and check out the various New Units offered by Lord Krazy (LK) and Lord Black Adder (LBA), and others.

These guys did the ground work in 'cracking' the structure of MTW pertaining to adding New Units into MTW and thus providing New Units for the benifit of this forums patrons.

Download 1 or 2 of the smaller offerings by LK/LBA and HAVE A GOOD LOOK AT THE STRUCTURE OF THE COMPONENTS once you've unzipped it. This should tell you a lot. Check the structure (files/folders/subfolders) of the download with your own copy of MTW - it WILL make sense

If you want more info have a read of the "Animations guide ..." that is a stickied thread. If you have questions post to a new thread - LK, and others, will be able to answer ANY question you have.
