...To write advertising articles promoting the use of 'Paid Reverse Phone Search Service' in the USA.

I have to write 50 articles in total, each one basically detailing a different use of the RPS, and how using a company that makes you pay a fee for the services is better than using a free one. It's really really dull to write and has no scope for creativity at all. However once I submit all 50, I get Rs. 2000, which is approximately equal to $45. :juggle2:

I needed a bit of advise. Since I've never done anything remotely akin to this I have absolutely no idea how much is the standard amount of payment that a person gets. Infact when I stumbled onto to this I was actually searching for a job where they might want a writer to write for some magazine or some website.

So if anyone here has done anything similar before can they please help and tell me if I'm getting paid the correct amount for the work I'm doing or am I being cheated?

Congrats now start doing it ;)

I'd ask on an Indian site, maybe a site for expats in India. Sounds like poor pay but I don't know how much it buys.

:beam: Thanks.

I usually translate a currency's value by using food as reference. Gives me good perspective.
So, here I can get a McDonalds Burger for Rs.25...that's around half a dollar.

I think burgers w/o cheese run around 69 cents. You appear to be getting a good value.

How long are the articles? In what context will they be published?

Articles are all 300-350 words long. They'll most likely be put on websites and stuff as advertisements.
