From the footage I have seen, this is one promising little piece of hardware. An analogue stick, about bloody time, in combination with the touchscreen and the insane 3d 'window' this is going to rock so hard. The graphical capability of this badboy mobs up the psp and throws it in a bucket. Since it's Nintendo we are sure to get innovative uses for all it's gadgets (3d pictures wow). I am very excited about this and I will get it day one.

I wonder how it will handle though...

All I know is that the Bombachu minigame won't be able to grief me anymore! Stupid trick wall shots!

I'll be buying it- at launch if I can scrape together the money. I think I've bought every Nintendo handheld at launch since the GBA SP (with the exception of the DSi XL... I mean, really) and I never regretted getting any of them.

The addition of a full version of Super Street Fighter 4 to the library of games for the 3DS makes the handheld very attractive. Before that was announce I was skeptical (if excited) about the 3DS, but once i heard that i was sold instantly. I think i will wait a few months after launch to get one, solely because I've already got a DS lite. It's not like I need another handheld, but the upgrade option is absolutely clear.

The tech demo for Metal Gear 3DS in the OP is also very impressive in its own right, and has played no small part in my consideration of the system. Really cool stuff! ~D

Nintendo 3DS? The DS already had 3d games, like Mario 64 DS and Mario Kart.
