Spartans recruitable as Macedonia?

Hi, is there a way to change the possible factions that can recruit a specific unit?
I saw that there is a line in the unit code that represents factions that can recruit it, so if I change it will I be able to recruit spartans or any other unit I want?

BTW, how do i change the HP of a unit from 1 to 2?

Moving thread to the Submod forum.

Just adding a recruitment line to the barracks is not enough: you have to make sure that there is a model and a skin available for that faction too. Try searching the submod forum for recruitable Spartans: I am sure there is a minimod out there that does just that. For modding units: check out Aradan's EDU guide (link) (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?88859-Guide-The-Complete-EDU-Guide-%28WIP%29). Remember that, if you use the trivial script, you should edit the EDU file in the "sp edu back-up" folder, not the one in EB\data.
