View Full Version : Medieval 2 Total War Battle Engine
Hello,
I am wondering what is being changed in the battle engine. In vanilla Med2 I found battles were fought too quickly (units routing quickly, units dying quickly). I would like if the battles were slower and more tactital. Perhaps raising troops morale? I am new to this website.

Well im pretty sure that as it was with EB1 and RTW defence and moral will be increased dramaticly solving the first two problems. P.s dont mention Cavalry its seems to be quite the can of worms ;)
And also welcome to the forums!

Im not sure if qouting Hitler in your sig is cool...
Anyway the atack values of units might get decreased and the defense raised.

~Jirisys (Tree-a-ree-aye) Yes I have noticed. But I have also played RTR and greatly enjoyed the battles because they lasted a lot longer. Even longer than EB's battles.
