Thank you very much, and great job!

Just a little question: is it compatible with the previous version?

Thank you very much, and great job!

Just a little question: is it compatible with the previous version?

I had redone all the battles I released in the first version for historical accuracy, so this version will oversave them.
don't worry they are much better now.:balloon2:

In the battle of Bibracte the cohorts just rout as soon as they realized they were going to be encircled without even fighting XD
Awesome work!
Can anybody tell me why the game freezes in the battle of Carrhae when Publius Crassus dies? (The little detachment's general outside the square)

Because the victory screen pops up the moment you kill the guy. This causes the superfluous little cinematic to collide with the victory screen. You can end this by "alt+tab"ing out (to desktop), then again selecting the runing game. Now the victory notification should appear in the foreground, and you can choose between continuing the battle or quitting.
This can also happen in some rare cases during campaign (if you kill the enemy general the same moment as his entire army starts to rout).

I'll try that, but everything freezes when the rest of the other roman army is still in square formation unharmed...

It worked, thank you very much athanaric (:

Nice job mate. Knew you were going to come around sooner or later with this beauty. Also a great job at overwriting older HBs (oversave, overwrite, whatever).

The only thing I regret is that I couldn't figure out how to script.

Thank you very much for making this mod, it's rekindled my love for EB. I especially appreciate the work you've done on the Saka vs. Indo-Greek wars.

I do have one question though. Now that the Battle of the Nile has been redone, why do the Ptolemies have no cavalry? According to The Alexandrine Wars they had two thousand horse.

"Some of them were Roman soldiers...and had been left in Egypt, in Ptolemy's service, when Antony returned to Rome. Some were native Egyptians. There was also in the army of Achillas a large number of fugitive slaves...Achillas had also in his command a force of two thousand horse. Such a body of cavalry made him, of course, perfect master of all the open country outside the city walls."

If you'll keep on reading, you'll see that before Caesar stormed Ptolemy camp, there were an incident in which the roman tried to cross a small river 7 roman miles away from the camp. Ptolemy send all his cavalry and a group of light infantry to stop the roman from crossing. Eventually the Romans menage to cross and kill almost all the cavalry, so very few of them returned to Ptolemy's camp.

That incident happened a day before the main battle, so I couldn't represent it in the Historical Battle.

Do you mean Battle Scripting in the RTW engine? Is that what you would use to script the beginning cutscenes such as can be found in original HBs of vanilla? That would also let you play WAV files IIRC, paving a way for narration, again, such as can be found in original HBs of vanilla. A great item for a To-Do list, innit?

It seems to be a problem with the hosting site: I got a 404 error when I tried to access the main site. When I tried a second time, the browser was rerouted to an ad website. I guess you'll just have to try again in a day or two.
