View Full Version : Does Anyone Want to Play Starcraft 2?
I'll add you if you give me your email you used to register. I'm about average to above average depending on the game.
I figured I'd post this here instead of the Arena because it gets a much higher volume of traffic.
I'd prefer not to publicly give my email address because it contains my full name, but if you want to know it just pm me.
Edit: Since I live in the midwest/east coast, I'm US East.

Yeah, it is annoying. A friend of mine got the English Canadian and not the French Canadian version, even though he is from Quebec. In reality, the English Canadian makes you able to play with North Americans only, and the French Canadian is actually region locked to Europe.
It is ultimately, really silly.

Hey, I can speak French in much the same way that Cute Wolf can speak English.
But on the main point, I haven't really been able to scrape together some time to game, let alone buy new games. I still play Starcraft: Brood War once every few months. :sad:

Just bought them last week, but not yet installed them...
What? Regional segregation by Blizzard?
If I couldn't even play with Ice, that's one more reason not to get this game...
It is based on World of Warcrafts system, it is to stop lag upon otherthings to make it more competitive friendly. I am guessing some one will be really annoyed if they lived in the UK and ended up with an Aussie with a bad connection, with extreme lag.
Though, they should have used the Warcraft 3 system, where you choose which server to go on.

Right now I am a mid-platinum player. Still kinda new to the game and working on my mid/late game....protoss player also, btw.
I have a very solid PvZ play, pretty decent at PvP, but PvT is just infuriating. Blizzard better start nerfing Terrans come next patch.....

Right now I am a mid-platinum player.
Mid level bronze!
Starting to get the hang of it. I've got two 2v2 teams, and a 3v3 team (comprising of the two guys i have 2v2 teams with) so we're getting alright at covering each other. Finding time to play at the same time is hard though.
Watching some replays that have been shoutcasted by HDstarcraft really helped me out, with strats and such.

I dislike PvP, especially when they Zealot rush you. I dislike Zealot rushes, it is just lame.

I'm assuming thats PVT, because I would just counter with marauder/marine/siege tanks

It would be PvP.
PvT if you went that, try for a few void rays, maybe few pheonixs to lift siege tanks and collosus to wipe marines. maybe no air and just immortals. Some DT's, not sure.

Though some one tried to nuke rush me the other day and I accidently trapped their ghost with my zealot warp in and killed it :D

Move to Vikings and when you try to counter those, move to battlecruisers.
(This exact scenario almost happened yesterday. For some reason, the guy forgot that mass vikings could also attack collosuses.)
DT's can be really annoying though. They requires a lot of care and detection.

Yes they do, but a ghost's emp takes their damage reducing shield away.
