View Full Version : Arrow_from_model
We have Arrow-, bolt- and bullet_from_model.
Can these be used in ranged units, and if so how? That would be very interesting as we then could create another type of archers and crossbows.
I know how to use the ninjastar (NINJ) but not the modeltypes.

Well what I {and I believe Kraxis} mean is we know the names to use in projectile type {in crusader 11.txt} for the usual suspects and for ninjastar {ninj} but are stumped as to what to call Arrow_from_model {and suchlike} .
We can use ninjastar {modded} for say composite bows , but I want to use a separate stat for mounted composite bows {less accurate , but can load on the move} and mounted crossbows {bit less accuracy and punch than the standard infantry model} .

Well when you find out, which you won't http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
Then you will have to think what becomes of the
the units or should I say models that use
the lines in question.
Apart from your bowmen firing bolts
what will happen to the models.
So, even if it was not coded
you would still have a problem http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/dizzy.gif
Sorry I can't help you.
Out of my depth on this one.
