I start my senior year of high school tomorrow. :sweatdrop:
When do you, in other states/regions/countries/continents start schooling?
I know that in the north the school usually start after Labor Day (or so I have heard), but in the south they start around now.

Depending on the school up here. In primary school, I finished about the 14th Dec every year, back 29/30th Jan.

In high school, last week of november was the finish and last week of Jan was the start.

I always thought it was weird how you Queenslanders started and ended your holidays a week before us in NSW. When I was in school I used live close to border so it would make for cheap family holidays.

IIRC most school in Japan starts in April Fools day.
It has something to do with the Cherry Blossom season.

I guess you'll hafta focus on other chicks, such as the contemporary ones that are around your own age and didn't happen to die a century ago.

In Western Australia the last few schooling years end earlier in order to make room for the end-of-year final exams. My last year of schooling is this year and - whilst it started at the beginning of February and would normally go on to early December - final year students have no school after the beginning of October, instead we get exams that teachers make out to be a test that will define life or death......... . . . . . yay! :D

Classes start for me on Monday. For my youngest sister, who's starting out as a college freshman back in Utah, they start a week later.
