Hendon,
Asking people to E-mail actual files is generally discouraged as such requests may indicate the recipient has an illegal copy of the game.
Why can't you simply re-install from the CD?
I presume you do have the CD?
Welly
Here's how it is welly i downloaded a unit addon that LK had made the one with royal footknigths and feudal bowmen but it did not worked and i forgot to make a backup in the men file. The prob is with that mod you are not able to play
MP. And of course i have the real cd. And i have made some mods so i dont want to reinstall it. So please send them to me.

Hendon,
If your using just 1 copy of MTW for both MP and modding you are creating a whole lot of problems for yourself.
Most people have 2 copies (at least) of MTW installed -
1) an original that never changes, for MP and as a backup copy for ..
2) a modding copy
Your best bet is to create another copy of MTW then it's easy enough to both play MP and copy the deleted files to your modding version.
If you don't do this you'll be continually asking for files - and then you'll find no one can be bothered sending them you
Welly
aye, that's mine, keep 3 actualy one for mp, one for backup, and one for modding, takes a lot of space, but i have 2 40gig hard drives so i'm not to worried...
all i do when i start a new mod, is copy all the necessary file from my backup into my modding folder... works real well, and no matter what i do i always have a back up.
ive got 2 copies... one is patrician, the other medieval

If it's on the same drive just install another copy with a different root name when your propted for it.
I use "Medieval - Total War Original" for the none-moddable copy, "Medieval - Total War Test") for playing about with and "Medieval - Total War Mods") for serious modding stuff.
I have shortcuts to all 3 on my desktop.
Having said that I STILL make changes to the wrong copy and tend to have to reinstall the original every month or two http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/mad.gif
