View Full Version : Question Regarding Cultured and Practical
So i've done a little searching and read that these traits are stepping stones in getting more traits and i was wondering if that's true? Practical is Obviously Good Since Unlike Cultured it wont end-up with the nasty scholarly trait but i don't like it since it also means unschooled? As for Cultured the good side is Erudite but after that its all down hill. So My Question is which of these traits are better in the Long Run for City Administrating FM's?

;Trait: Scholarly
; o Cultured (1): <Influence> 1
; o Erudite (2): <Management> 1
; o Scholastic (3): <Influence> -1, <HitPoints> -1
; o Pedantic (4): <Influence> -2, <HitPoints> -1
Vs
;Trait: Unschooled
; o Unschooled (1): <Management> -1
; o Practical (2): <Management> 1
Looks like practical is better in the long run.

yeah, it was kinda weird trait, I personally modify the Scholastic and pedantic trait with adding +2 management and +3 management respectively

Yes But i read from a previous thread of mine that the Cultured trait has its benefits as a stepping stone to other traits like Philospher.

Hey guys, sorry to differ from the OP. I've been searching and searching for a url which has the traits database. Where you can click on a trait and it shows its relationship and links you to further traits. Does anyone know that site? I had it originally saved in my favourites but have since lost it.

Couldn't find any reference to that in export_descr_character_traits.txt.
edit: Actually the scholarly line of traits does seem to be necessary for quite a range of good traits. More so than Unschooled anyhow.
