Last time I tried to post a topic similar to this it received no replies but this is just an idea. Am I among the few you thinks that the engine used in Shogun is in some ways superior to that of Medieval? I speak of course from the perspective of a layperson, having absolutely no modding experience or deep knowledge of the workings of the engine (for all I know maybe the engine used in Medieval is “superior” to the one used in Shogun in terms of flexibility, etc…). However I do know that I like Shogun better even though I have found the Total War series through Medieval. The graphics look better, the game runs smoother, and otherwise the game is basically the same. Shogun, however, lacks the unit diversity and the campaign map of Medieval. Is there anybody that is interested in creating some sort of a Medieval-Shogun mod? Or am I the only one who feels this way?
