Alright, so now I've found a new girl, she gave me her phone number as I was about to ask for it, she's pretty smart, and she's Jewish (:2thumbsup:). But her sister is similar, far prettier, and younger.
Basically I'm not sure which to choose, her or her sister? She is 16, and a senior, and her sister is 14 and a sophomore. So either way I'd be dating 1 year and 1 grade level away from my own.
I think I might go for her, but her sister is definitely hotter, and shes younger so I don't have to deal with being the less mature one in the relationship. ugh.
sorry, just had to post it. let's try to stay away from ideas involving "three" within 7 words of the word "some". and not get it locked this time?

Getting her number then going for her sister is a massive **** move.
Its not wrong, but you got her number. Her sister is 14, that you even thought of a word with three in it.
Get your mind out of the gutter. Make a choice, deal with it. But don't lead either on and go with the other.
Plus the older girl gave you her number, her sister probably won't.

absolutely.
Date the older one. Treat her well, don't be a :daisy:. She's smart, which means she's off to college and a new life in a year. That's when you go for the younger sister. Just remember that the older sister will tell the younger one everything.

You got her number, which doesn't mean she wants anything more than friendship, but as drone says, even if it does, at your age, if it lasts more than 2 weeks, its unusual, 2 months is like 25 years.

I agree with what everyone has said here. If you are more attracted to the younger sister, you should have gone for her first.

That's not what I meant. If you can date the older for the whole year, great. But you need to understand that when she goes off to college, it's over. You won't be leaving her, she will be leaving you. If you two don't last the year, well, that's just the way it is at your age. Don't move straight on the the younger sister, in this scenario you can also wait until the oldest heads off next year. If you go this route (oldest then youngest), just remember that you are auditioning when dating the oldest, don't be a :daisy: around the parents or youngest.

a 16 year old is always going to be more mature than a 14 year old. And i never said sexual experience you perverts.
a 16 year old is always going to be more mature than a 14 year old.My mistake, I guess I wasn't clear enough. Prussian is 15 and the girl who gave him his number is 16 and unless he's a complete dunce, I don't see how being 1 year apart in age diference corralates to someone being more mature than the other on most occasions. But I do agree with your statement although there are of course exceptions.
If in doubt, date the older sister (gives you street cred to hook up with an older babe) while having a secret affair with the younger sister...

I think the movies is a great first date! Are you too young and is it too soon to give her a peck on the cheek during the film? Follow it with a nice sit down dinner. Not fast food or take out! If you are low on funds, each pay half. If you don't want to ask or feel like a cheapskate, skip dinner. Mom and Dad might lend you a few dollars. Good one on one time, improves a potential bond quite quickly. If you are out with too many people, you lose track and touch with one another. Dinner and a movie might be generic and an American cliche, but it's fun. And that is all that matters. In my humble opinion anyway.

wow, wow, wow.
Don't knock the food court, there isn't a better follow up to a movie. If your lucky there might be a more "up-market" eatery in the food court, say a Nandos. If this is the case, pass it off like you think it's a genuine restaurant. The only downside is if your running late and said girl has to be back by a certain time so you have to grab a "take away" and eat it on the way back. And remember, you're never too old for the food court.

I agree with you. I forgot about the food court! The food is geneally quite good, you can sit and chat, it is less expensive and convinient! Ha ha, I also forgot that most movie theatres are in the malls nowadays as well! Duh!

They don't sell Cashews And Milk at the food court though.
:mad::mad::deal2::deal2:
You can buy something oriental, then mix in the cashews. Buy milk at Dunkin Donuts if there is one, and omit the beverage at the oriental restaraunt. Then you can go to the food court and still have cashews and milk. Buy the cashews at a CVS or something if there is on in the mall. A perfect date made even better thanks to the delicious combination of cashews and milk! Get flavored milk too if one should so desire!

I never understood the "movie date" thing...
It is so... passive... Both sit in darkness and stare at a screen, not really romantic, is it?
When I still bothered I would suprise the girl with something active, paintball, gokart, dance class... The list goes on.
Last proper "date", I showed up at her door with a walz instructor, a pianist, a violinist and a cook. We had dance lessons to live music (lots of laughs from all involved) while the cook prepared a romantic dinner in her own kitchen. Worked wonders.
That might be out of some peoples monetary reach of course, but there are cheaper ways to come up with romantic suprises, heck, pretty much anything beats the cinema...

Some? :inquisitive:
Monetary reach would be putting on a CD or MP3 player and doing the cooking themselves. Not have an orchestra, professional chef and a private waltz instructor turn up.
Standard dance lesson followed by a picnic then?
Dance lesson for 2 is maybe 40$, picnic even cheaper :)
Or just go and play laser tag, cheap and damn fun!
EDIT: If doing laser tag, remember you dont get points with the girl if you frag her repeatedly and then brag about it ;)

I've always favored a picnic which I put together, carefully and with taste (having gathered a little intel on what she likes ahead of time), red and white checkered throw, basket, and all. Take her to a nice place on a nice day with a nice view. Make sure the weather is good, and there's room for a nice picturesque walk. This scenario allows for the enjoyment of food and drink, and lots of conversation, without a lot of distractions if you go to the right place at the right time.
If conversation, personality, and sincere eye-to-eye expression are strengths, it's hard to go wrong with this. I don't like to waste time (I don't mean getting to sex; I mean getting to know each other well). You can cover much more ground on a date like this than on ten dates to the movies doing things where conversation and one-on-one, face-to-face interaction is inhibited.
But that's just me, and times and people have changed. Maybe this kind of thing doesn't fly with most anymore.
As to laser tag etc., once some time ago when I did a picnic as described, I took my date to a park alongside a local river where there was an archery range, and after lunch on the spur, we rented bows and did some shooting. It was spontaneous and she loved it. She out-shot me too, lol (and I wasn't letting her--I'm a former summer camp instructor for pete's sake--she was just a damn good shot!).

she likes some dude (9th grader, damned freshman!) who she met prior to me, but she still likes me (confusing). anyway my lucky break is I met him and he doesn't seem to like her, and other people think so too. I think I can work with that, if someone (not me) tells her that he's not interested than...I'll be good. plus they've known eachother for a long time, which means if he wanted to ask her out he wouldn't; I've never (nor have I seen anyone ever) known a girl for more than a few months and still ask her out. it gets too awkward, and this 9th grader certainly isn't confident enough to risk that. wow this is total bull. so she liked another guy prior to me, but everybody that knew about it agreed and told me that he wasn't going to ask her out, which made sense since they had known eachother a good amount of time.
so apparently she didn't think I was asking her out, and we then got into a (calm on my side, heated on hers) argument about not only the fact that he wouldn't ask her out, but then she interrogated me to try to find out who else said so. I of course didn't tell her because that would be bad for not only those people but for myself by extension of their inevitable unhappiness.
and now in the end, not only does she appear to harbor a fair hatred for me, but it seems like she means to question people to find some answers. this effing sucks in every aspect I can think of. your doing the right thing. screw her.
Yep, let's continue that line of thought. That will help everyone!
so apparently she didn't think I was asking her out, and we then got into a (calm on my side, heated on hers)
and then:
why are girls such total ******* ********* piece of **** *******? why can't they have normal thought processes like sane human ******* beings? damnet there has to be some ******* rhyme or reason to it. if they aren't totally ******* insane then they are almost certainly ugly or fat. I'm about ready to skip the next 4 years of my life, maybe to where women behave like something other than a total psycho ***** every minute of the god **** mother ******* day.

That'll show her the error of her ways and she will be yours again in no time

I seeeeeeriously doubt that. the only sentences i don't include a curse in are directed at certain girls, my parents, or my teachers, and I still swear at my parents, and occasionally around my teachers as well.

I doubt it, too, but I usually just swear Moroney style (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_Dangerously).

So the story thickens as the day after this, the guy she likes chatted with me on Facebook. Weeeeell. Most. Ironic. Conversation. Ever.
Basically, it turns out I was right about not only him not going to ask her out (which she thought would happen in a year. a year? people change so much in a year, especially in the first 2 years of high school), but also the reason (thought it would be weird asking out his really good friend), though the fact that he likes, from his mouth, 8 other girls was slightly less expected.
I didn't say anything to her though, and I probably won't unless I need to drop a freaking bomb on her (took pics of the conversation :D).
But then later that day she said sorry, I said sorry, hope she is happy with that guy (holding back laughter), and we made up, it seemed like we were both mutually done with the matter and just forgot all about it.
At this point I thought we were done now and this was all over, but no, this b**** has to keep on.
She is now lying and spreading a rumour that I'm a stalker to people at the synagogue, someone telling me she said quote "you were likeing every single status of hers on facebook and posting on her wall and asking people stuff about her", NONE of which happened. I liked like one status (which is certainly not stalker-esque), never posted on her wall, and never asked anybody about her (which she wouldn't know about anyway??).
So I'm defo confronting her next time I see her, but I'm not sure which way to go.
I could go the totally pissed off route and just go in angry as hell (pumped up by 20 minutes of Metallica beforehand, plus angry thoughts) and....I don't have the rest thought out but it probably involves a definitely elevated voice and possibly bringing my shoulders back to make my chest look more muscular, and towering my figure in an intimidating manner.
Or, I could go the more calm, dissapointed way and just say something like "You know what, I thought you were above spreading rumours and lies, but I guess I was wrong. I'm really just dissapointed if nothing else." but longer maybe, not giving her a chance to speak. The only reason I wouldn't want to go that route is it could backfire and end up with her tuning me out and just continuing on and saying that I also try to talk to her so I must be a stalker. Or it could resound and make her see that its really immature and just altogether wrong to spread lies about something like that. Buuuut she's not altogether that mature (as you have seen at the beginning of this post) so again, she might not take it the way its intended.
But the angry way I think she will, I'll just look like an a-hole (which is fine, rather be that than a stalker).
opinions on which way to take?
I'm confused, which girl is this again? Younger sister, older sister, or friend?
Just blow her off, sounds like she is too much drama for you at this stage. Real life ignore button.
I agree with drone just stay away from her she sounds like a waste of time.
You should listen to this song I love to listen to this band when I'm pissed off about people (language warning)

younger sister.
TBH, I was fine ignoring her until she began telling people I was a STALKER. and not the cool type that goes into pripyat and kills supernatural stuff either.

only when I'm already angry. it definitely helps me get pumped up before a fight or football game or anything that anger would help with. think angry thoughts and play metallica at 40000000000mhz
also: thanks for all the suggestions guys. helpin soooo much.....

Fortunately for you, tomorrow is National Unfriend Day. I gather she did not block you or whatever stupid mechanism Facebook uses to keep stalkers at bay despite her claims, so here's your chance to get her out of your life. Unfriend her and just ignore her. If she comes up to you, be polite but disinterested. Don't feed the troll.
You should have gone for the older sister. More mature and out of your life in 6 months.

already unfriended as of last night :P
ignoring her isn't the issue though. people are telling me that she is spreading rumours and lies about me, and thats the only reason i care to talk to her. to make her stop and then ignore her afterwards.

And if shes spreading rumours about you:
1. Trying to track her down to speak to her only proves her point.
2. Its for a reason.
Best option: Ignore it. If someone mentions it to you, just say "Oh is she? Whatever floats her boat."
Indifference is your friend. If you stop caring, the problem will go away.

She is screwing with you, don't give her the satisfaction. And nothing will piss her off more.
What's in a reputation anyway? Your close and personal will not change and will know who you are. Who cares about people you will never meet? Ignore her and move on with your life as the others have suggested. Ignorance (and a thick skin) are bliss afterall! This thread makes me so glad I am no longer in High School! :)

Alright so the deed is done. cursed her out, and she was flabbergasted and by her tone sort of remorseful. she knows how angry and disappointed I am, and is still denying ever saying anything (another lie, multiple people told me), and I am ignoring her now. still, she does sound sort of remorseful now though.
either way, shes a bitch and a liar and I don't associate with her kind.

This tread has enough story to fill a few youth romance books. Just change some characters in old horror monsters and you're golden.
Also take it from me, you shouldn't care about what people you don't know think about you.

Unless, o'course, they were actually lying at the behest of that guy you were competing with, eh?
Being the bigger man is awsome - with time you will find ways to ignore this sort of thing.

oh trust me, she is. the biggest reason I can tell? her sister isn't mad at me. if I had cursed her out and she had never said those things, she would be furious. hell, she was angry at me when I didnt even curse and we had the first argument. thats how i can tell.
