hello everybody!

I try to recruit "Galatikoi Tindanotae (Galatian "wild Men" Infantry)", First Cohors and Cohors Reformata with the cheat create_unit, so, I'typing:

create_unit Arretium "Galatikoi Tindanotae (Galatian "wild Men" Infantry)"
create_unit Arretium "Prima Cohors Reformata (Marian Legionary First Cohort)"
create_unit Arretium "Cohors Reformata (Post Marian Legionary Cohort)"
http://europabarbarorum.heimstatt.net/index.php?mp=unitlist
but i get the message "err: unit type not recognised"

I read almost all your posts and perhaps I find my error: insert the correct unit names. So, I try to find them in Eb/data/export_descr_units but, incredibly........... I have not found them... :juggle2::sweatdrop:

can you help me?

I use the trick in order to obtain the feature of expert recruiter for my general and therefore for having the augustan reform....

please reply...

The correct names are:
celtic_infantry_galatiantindanotae
roman_infantry_legionary_cohort_i
roman_infantry_legionary_first_cohort_i

I don't think it works for expert recruiter, though. You'll probably have to recruit the "conventional" way.

Not sure if you need to use the underscores (I don't need to) but then again, I don't even know what expert recruiter is...

In the export_descr_unit, the easiest way to find the unit you're looking for is to make note of its recruit price and other other stats, especially if it's an infantry with missiles or cavalry unit (they seem to stick out due to how their stats are laid out). Just search or find function for the recruit (or even their cost in custom battle, which are usually the same) or their cost per turn. Their name should be something like what Lysimachos posted, or steppe missile cavalry pahlava shivatir (parthian horse archers).

don't save any changes you didn't mean to make (it's easy to space out and move a character here or there while you're scrolling around sometimes--or maybe it isn't, and I just did it once and now I'm terrified of the implications for anyone else!), and if you're gonna change something, make a back up first. (I think every one of these posts, or at least 1/3, are just mandated to include that info!)

thank! I have an other, little and stupid...... question: the general that I have chosen it has these traits:

selfish/optimistic/disloyal

with this traits..... "can't be selfless" is respected?

forgive the stupid question...but i'm not much sure one for requirement of the augustan reform...

Yes, since the "selfless"-trait is the opposite of the "selfish"-trait.
