Will the overhand spear animation drag the spear in the ground when the units are running? For me that is the biggest turn-off in the entire EB1 game. Please say you have fixed this. <3
Yes we fixed the animation.

Seems a pretty minor thing to be such a big turn-off. But we do our best.

I know, I know. Clipping is one of my pet peeves. I like to zoom in real close to the units while they're in battle, so I'm probably too critical of these things. On the other hand, I really appreciate the work the modelers do on other units, like the 2-handed kontos for heavy cavalry. That is probably my favorite model/animation. The transition from the shouldered lance to the couched position right before charge is perfect. :)

I can sympathize. I guess I just blank out clipping when I see it unless it's totally gratuitous.

Likewise, although I have found it's usually a bad idea as I stop paying attention to what my units are doing and the ones I am not watching get slaughtered (especially my skirmishers). OT I know, but still.
