I have browsed the recommended readings and have several of the books now, but i couldnt find a definitive history of Galatians. I understand they are covered in some books but is there any you guys can recommend?

You could have asked this in the Bibliography thread itself.

The only book I can think of out of the top of my head is one of Strabo's. Which only describes the region and some of their customs, not being actually Galatia specific.

The Ancient Celts by Barry Cunliffe has a whole chapter dedicated to the Galatians...
It has also another one about the greek invasion...
