Your mothers bloodline originates from eastern europe / caucasus (the H2), combined with Siberia (A2), A2 is also one of the five haplogroups of the indigenous peoples of the Americas (or red indians).
Your dads bloodline is very mixed, though a quick skim would lead eastwards (from a european perspective).

That is very interesting.
My dad has always made it a point to rub in that my moms side of the family were a bunch of Heinz 57's "mutts" and his were pure Irish and Slavic.
It would be awesome to turn that around on him.
Jerk.(not you).

Why..Because my dad is an ass?
I find this stuff interesting none the less for reasons beyond pettiness.
Maybe i got some Skythian or Cimmerian in me.
Imagine the fear that would be struck into my enemies.....

Oh,sorry i misunderstood you.
I just find this so interesting..
When someone go's "I'm Italian on my moms side and Dutch on my dads" or "I'm Irish and German" or even "My whole family can trace their roots to England" that really isn't saying much now is it?
There is such an interesting mixture of people even within localized groups.

not necessarily; looking at a chart for R1b1b2, Ireland (i.e, Dad's origin), is 80% R1b. in fact, its very common in the British Isles. it decreases as one heads further east. R1a1 though, is the opposite.
R1b general chart
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/6b/R1bmap.JPG
R1b1b2a1a2f
This subclade is defined by the presence of the marker L21, also referred to as M529.[2] Myres et al. report it is most common in England and Ireland (25-50% of the whole male population).[7]
as to mom:
Subhaplogroups H2, H6 and H8 are somewhat common in Eastern Europe and the Caucasus.[3] They may be the most common H subclades among Central Asians and have also been found in West Asia.[9] H2a5 has been found only in Basque Country, Spain.[12]
sorry, that's what the charts and articls say. your dad is unfortunately, likely to be correct. yeah, he's a jerk though.

That would be weird though to have ancestors from eastern europe without some trace from farther east.
Wouldn't it?

Why?
Slavic peoples have a strong culture and heritage.
