Hear ye hear ye! (that's how it goes, right? :laugh4:)

Proposition have I for y'all. Or maybe more like a question. Has anyone done a comic AAR? By that I don't mean funny, I mean literally in the style of a comic book or a manga. At all, not just for EB. The title of the thread is just a proposed way of letting people know that your AAR is 1) from EB and 2) in the style of a comic. I am possibly the single worst sketcher on this planet, but I am a very inspired person. I have managed (phew!) to create a cover page for an imagined AAR of mine. The title is Samus Y and it refers to Samus Yervanduni, the faction heir by default when you start a new EB Hai campaign (if I remember correctly!). Just press the spoiler button and she's all yours, all black and white pixels of her:

If I remeber correct, there is some Pontic-AAR with speechbubbles! It was quite good. You may find some nice ideas in there. It's quite old but I've seen it here in the section.

I probably have less bandwidth at the moment in Megabytes than the number of fingers on my hands. Can you tell me if this AAR had panels or if they were just screenshots with dialogue bubbles? I guess that's like asking, was it a comic or halfway to a comic?

The graphics were largely screenshots, but they were arranged in a panel format... and the writing was very good. You should let it download while you get lunch sometime.

Oh that sucks. I was hoping there would be a true comic, drawn by an artist. Guess there's a first time for everything.

That's a very original idea Vartan, good luck with it! And that's all the assistance I can offer as there are creatures on this planet without limbs that have better illustrating skills than me.

Don't worry, I'm right there with you (just look at my 'cover' page). Also, I'm lacking a drawing tablet. So even though I can scan in my sketches and roughs, I still have to do fine work with the MOUSE! Argh!
