I need to update my drivers from the horribly obsolete 8.7 something to 10.8 for the OpenGL features so as to eliminate the "upside down bug" in Amnesia: Dark Decent:

But, Dell are a bunch of :daisy:'s and they only have the 8.7 one supported for my machine, and no matter what I try I cannot get the installer to actually update from 8.7 to 10.8. I've tried uninstalling the current drivers, then cleaning the registry of leftovers, then attempting an install, but that just makes the installer not register my card at all......

Any help/instructions would be appreciated.

Freakin' Dell, man. They're just a bottle of pain.

Any chance you can suss out the chipset/GPU? There's an outside chance they're off-the-shelf. However, if the chipset is a custom Dell one-off, you're in for a bumpy ride.

I'm assuming you've run your dxdiag and taken a gander. Can you give us the model/make of the Dell? A little Googling might help out ...

I am presuming you went and got the drivers from: http://support.amd.com/us/Pages/AMDSupportHub.aspx

Heh. Even though it didn't properly update it did fix the issue.... =/ Which makes no sense.
