The trait that Hellenes can get, I cant remember what it's called but its description was something along the lines of 'In charge of supervising women in the gym'...
Actually Fluv awhile ago came across a good one on cheeses (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?122625), I would select that for myself too...
EDIT: Found it, it's Gynaikomos. Overseer of women in the gymnasium.

Reminds me of an Baktrian FM I had who had that trait, Casual Adulterer trait and on top of that somekind of prostitute retinue. :laugh4:

Hehe a mate of mine once created himself into the game (i.e. renamed a family member) and while he was in the bathroom I gave him two 'great' traits: Sexual Predator and Grotesquely Perverse. It took him awhile to notice and the resulting laugh was quite worth it:thumbsup:.

I guess I'd be a Sweboz, too, though I wouldn't make for a true sweboz warrior. I'm not too familiar with their traits, since my campaigns usually take place more to the south and east, so I'd need to start a campaign in order to determine my ingame stats :idea2:
Casse
Atrebate (purely because they are my favourite Celtic tribe)
Welcoming to foreigners
Selfish/Pessimistic/Loyal
Blooded (I have had plenty of accidents riding my bike and have had my nose broken by another person)
In the pink
Gloomy (bloody woman)
Social Drinker
Drunken Uncle (Can also throw most of the family into this category)
Famous Orator (I talk alot of rubbish)

And I really started to believe what they say about the Irish was just a prejudice:barrel::laugh4:

After a bit of thought, I've constructed a fairly plausible trait list for a Family Member version of myself, based upon my real life personality and EB playing habits. I may elaborate on a few of my choices.
Sweboz
Sharp/Charismatic/Langruous - Of these three, my Intelligence would be the highest, while my charisma would be only slightly-above-average. My energy level would probably be rock-bottom.
Unselfish/Pessimistic/Loyal - Honestly, I'm about average in terms of selfishness, so a case for me being either selfish or unselfish could be made, depending on my mood. I am definitely a pessimist, although I prefer the term 'realist'. My loyalty would almost certainly be at the highest level.
Atheist
Restrained
Spartan
Scant Trust
Grower - Grew up on a farm, so I picked up a few things here and there.
Tub-Thumper
Plain - ...not outright ugly, but I won't have fangirls swarming over me anytime soon.
Reserved
Flagging
Abstemious - I used to be a borderline alcoholic as a teenager, but once I found out that Alcoholism runs in my genes, I stopped. Cold Turkey, might I add.
Loyal
Honest - ..to the point of brutality, sometimes.
Calm
Careful with Money - Lower-middle class life'll do that to you.
Discreet
Irreverent
Cheapskate - See 'careful with money'
Pragmatic
Firm Personal Morality
Untouched by Fear
Lazy
Watchful
Even-Handed
Plausible
Erudite
Green
Night Fighter
Noctophiliac - In regards to Night Fighter and this trait... well, I'm practically a borderline vampire.
Heroic Defender
Exceptional Ambusher
Dislikes Attacking Walls
Gate Keeper
Loathes Seleucids (Custom Trait, +2 Command command against Seleucid armies, have no problems with other Greek factions.)
Poor Cavalry Commander (Cavalry Command -1)
Skilled Infantry Commander
Everything from Night Fighter to Skilled Infantry Commander is based upon my EB playing habits.
...
Kind of a weird FM for the Sweboz, what with the preference for defense over offense. Still, plop me down in a city and it'll be well-managed and near-impossible to conquer. Too bad none of my peers take me seriously thanks to my complete lack of influence.

Well, I'm an Australian who lives on the outskirts of my home city (I have to say, I really like living in built-up areas that are surrounded by park and forest) who enjoys a sober, quiet existance reading, playing video games, working torwards becomming a civil and structural engineer and spending half my life lost in escapist fantasy... I'll see if I can translate myself into EB traits, but it's not going to be easy...
Faction: Thinking about it, I feel I'd probably seem the least out of place in Carthage or Greece (most likely Macedon), though I'm not at all certain...
Traits:
Sharp/Uncharismatic/Languorous (I tend to rub people the wrong way and I have a definitely lazy streak, but I think I'd be on the high end of both of those, as I seem to recall there are three "levels" of each trait (three levels of sharp, three levels of dull, etc.), so I'd be at the least worst level of both Uncharismatic and Languorous)
Unselfish/Pessimism/Loyal (I'm well aware of how much the world sucks, though I don't actually let it get me down. Indeed, I'm downright high on life alot of the time... I guess you could call me a cheerful cynic)
Young
Green (Any injuries I've suffered have been extremely light and I've been in maybe one or two extremely brief physical altercations in my entire life)
Note: From here on out, I was going through the list avaliable here (it's the link that reads, "This generated documentation") and picking the traits I thought applied to me...
https://www.europabarbarorum.com/features_traits.html
Indecisive attacker (in all my games... I can actually perform a solid attack when I set my mind to it, but it's convincing me to attack at all that is the problem, hence I get this trait instead of Incompetent/poor/pathetic attacker)
Great defender (wouldn't go so far as to call myself a "heroic defender", but I've always been awfully good at holding back the proverbial tide in my games)
None shall pass! (see above)
Poor ambusher (The simple ambush was never something I could quite grasp)
Untouched by fear (I don't get intimidated easily, but I wouldn't call myself stupendously brave, so just the first level of this trait for me I think, if that)
Strong language (I don't swear for the sake of swearing, but do tend to garnish what I say with the ocassional curse without really thinking about it)
Firm personal morality (I wouldn't say I have this exactly the way the game describes it, but I do have it)
Pragmatic (Very much so...)
In the Pink (I consider myself a healthy person)
Sane
Unusual (I know this is supposed to be an anti-trait for sane, but I, whilst sane, definitely march to the beat of a different drum, to the point where plenty of people have considered me to be abnormal in the past)
Sacreligious (My signature on the Relicnews forums has a little stickfigure with the words, "This is the prophet Mohammed. Copy and paste him so as to committ horrible blasphemy! Certainly I'm this by the standards of the ancient world, though today I'm more a run-of-the-mill, "Freely jokes about ridiculous nature of religion" kind of guy)
Note: I used to have the "loose lipped" trait, but have since gotten that under control.
Calm (I've always been quick to return from any highly emotional state to neutral and have only gotten more even-keeled as time has worn on)
Publically despises the games (I tend to openly despise any sort of practise that invovles people getting hurt for the sake of getting hurt, purely for entertainment value, which is why I hate boxing)
Works during races (I have no interest at all in vehicle or horse racing in real life and totally ignore our vaunted spring racing carnival, not to mention Australian Rules football, which seemingly the entire country except for my family is obsessed with)
Trusty or honest (I'm generally a pretty honest and upright person, but I'm uncertain as to the relative extent)
Publicly loyal (to those who have earned it definitely)
Teetotal (very much so)
Poor disiplinarian (If I can grow attachments to my units in my games that make me sorry to see them die, you can imagine how I'd been with real soldiers. One might even bump this up to "too considerate", but I fancy myself as a Jean-Luc Picard kind of a leader and I think he, at worst, would only have "Poor disiplinarian", rather than "Too considerate")
Rather lazy (sad to say, but true)
Welcoming to foreigners
Atheist (Very strongly indeed... I don't "despise" the Gods though, as it's hard to hate something you feel probably doesn't exist. I do, however, sometimes hate what religion has done to people and the shit religious organisations pull, but not enough, I feel, to warrant the higher levels of this trait)
Outstanding speaker (I'm not at all sure about this one, but I was always much better at oral reports than my fellow school students at any rate)
Lover of beauty
Careless (though I'm working on becoming less so)
Useless assessor (I'd probably be the type to listen to "every sob story of hardship")
Just
Humane ruler (can't bring myself to even be cruel to my Sim Cities, let alone any real people I might find myself ruling)
Superior builder (I have a fascination with engineering and urban planning and I love games like Sim City, Railroad Tycoon and Pharaoh. This could easily rise to Great builder after I've finished university)
Poor farmer (can't bring myself to be interested in the agrarian lifestyle)
Benevolent governor (see above)
Engineer (Again, the applied sciences are right up my alley)
Understanding of strategy
Understanding of mathematics (I've always liked and been good at maths)
Understanding of logistics (another tenative one)
Philosophically inclined (I like to dabble in such considerations)
Draughsman (again, applied sciences and Sim City)
Good looking (I'd like to think so at least)
Erudite
Friendly
Heavy sleeper (sleeping through floods, sleeping through heavy construction work... At least I don't sleep through the alarm...)
Preoccupied (I have way too many disparate thoughts swirling around in my head)
Good tactician
Rested (At time of writing I've been sleeping well)
Bored (Just a little a lot of the time)
Well supplied
Plebevius
OK, that looks like about it... :)
Its cute that everyone who stated their stats put Sharp/something/Langruous. As if anyone would voluntarially put themselves as Dull... Seems the interwebs are full of weak, lazy computer nerds.
I spose I will break the mould and go for:
Dull/Uncharismatic/Vigourous (gotta have something going for me)
Unselfish/pessemistic/Disloyal (I care about other people enough but don't rely on me in the loyalty department, especially if you have a cute girlfriend)
Optimates (I hate the unwashed masses)
Political Animal
(honestly can't think of a Roman family I could relate to. maybe someone else knows them well enough.)
Grower
Eqvites
Cruel Governor (never vote me in as dictator)
Firm Personal Morality (bad morals but they are firmly entrenched)
I could crap on forever but am sure those are the most pertinent ones. Anything else that describes me as a tedious speaker, casual adulterer and quite a few other major personality flaws are probably correct.

Well, I don't know about weak but I am lazy enough. Especially when I don't get paid. Anyhow, my faction is Getai.
been in the wars (not personal combat experience, but I don't know any subject as well as I know military history and practices, and killing people in general)
loathes vile romans (with a passion)
loathes conniving greeks (west and east greeks)
night fighter
likes the dark
hesitant attacker
doubtful courage (I doubt my courage anyway)
anger (see above)
strong language
pragmatic
in the pink
unusual
unstinting
gloomy
honest
loyal
neamhniaba (very sober, but I don't mind a beer now and again; I've never been drunk in my life however)
rather lazy
sacrilegious (gods be damned, if there are any)
stern
a bit paranoid
even-handed
understanding of natural philosophy (leeching doesn't cure everything lol)
sharp/uncharismatic/langorous 5/2/2 (again, i'm not really weak, but i am langorous, and I like to think that I'm pretty smart)
selfish/pessimistic/loyal 3/2/6 (i'm selfish, but when I commit to a friend, or even to an institution, I do it seriously)
erudite
antisocial
flagging
distracted (and how!)
good tactician
uninspiring leader

I can't remember what the trait name was for the trait that said something along the lines of "this man is so ugly that children and small pets have to be put out of the room when he is around", but whatever it was called, I definitely have that.
As for the retinue, I'm pretty sure that if I was one of your FMs and you left me in charge of a city, I'd surround myself with courtesans...
Dosn't "Dull" and "Stern" kinda contradict each other? s:

"Dull" refers to the intelligence, while "stern" means something like austere, strict, rigorous.

You know....it shouldn't; but I always like to hold the EB forums to a higher standard. Probably because I am a member.

I'm pretty sure, that it refers to how good at managing a city? (can't be sure though), If that's the case, it just seems a little out of place to me. Might simply be me though :)

It has an effect on how good someone can manage a city, because someone who is stern (or spartan or austere, which are the higher grades of the trait) is much less prone to indulge himself in luxury, comfort and idleness. It's a matter of attitude rather than intelligence.
Ah all right :) get i just associated with something else then, nevermind me.
