I was just wondering, we all acknowledge Christianity in the game to be pretty crap compared to Budhism, and obviously there will be no Christianity in the Mongol invasion, but in the normal campaign, in what ways will Christianity be made to be a more attractive proposition?

A memory tickles from one of the previews about a retouch to the koku gained from churches, refining priest abilities, that kind of thing, but it was A) from and early interview, and thus is uncomfirmed, and B) could possibly be a figment of my imagination completely. The old dreamlands/real-world barriers are breaking down again.... It does trigger as an actual memory, though, so if anyone else could confirm?

It's true. "Priests will be able to start rebellions" (whatever that means) and churches will now produce a koku yield. Of course, this may not be all, but they're certainly making an effort towards this end.

Priests already can start Christian uprisings if you use enough of them. And if they keep/strengthen that ability it'll be good, since really that was the aim of Jesuit Catholocism. Maybe when the expansion previews referred to priests "starting rebellions" it means a Christian daimyo could "convert" a Buddhist daimyo's taisho and get him to rebel? I think I read that individual taisho defections will be in expansion so this would be feasible.

Why did you bring 16 Female Ashigaru? Keep clicking weather, they're only strong one week a month.

Can you send a priest to assasinate someone? Kinda like The Preacher in "Johnny Mnemonic"?
