Toad in the hole (both of them) looks way better than pigs in a blanket! Making me hungry!
edit: Pigs in a blanket in UK looks good...sausage is superior to hot dogs any day! With bacon too! :D

I know about the sausage dish. I'm not sure if it's even an australia wide thing, I just know that in the area I grew up we called the egg dish Toad in a Hole.

I'm with gaelic cowboy, toad in the hole = pig wrapped in yorkshire pud. Pigs in blankets = pig wrapped in more pig.

Where I come from Pigs in a blanket = Golabki. A ground pork & rice mixture wrapped in cabbage leaves and braised in a spicy sweet tomato sauce.

My understanding was that the British were the prudish ones? After all, there was all that "french disease" stuff, and the British for a "proper" kiss is a "french kiss". Damn rutting latins, it's all that papist rot I tell you! <---joke.

Apparently the English have better sex than the French.
Jst because we put up a polite facade.

English win because they knew it would be tasty to wrap bacon around a sausage. Sometimes things are that simple.
