Question

So, I dusted of my copy of MTW from the shelf and gave it a go, now I have a few unit mod questions, now Im not sure if this is the right fora for it, but I couldnt find anyone better suited for it, nor could I find anything about the thing I wanted to know, nor could I find anyone mod available that covers these points I wish to change, so here goes....

A. Is it possible to make Turcopoles buildable, and not just available as merc´s? And is it possible to make them available to the Byzantines?

B. Is it possible to make Order Knights buildable and not just recievable through crusades?

C. Is it possible to change Armenian Heavy Cavalry to be buildable by Byzantines and not by the Turks?

The answer to all three questions is yes, all these units can be modded via the crusader_unit_prod11 file. There is a good editing program on the Org download page called Gnome_UnitBuildProj_Editorv2.0 that makes the file easy to edit , So if you want to make Turcopoles available in column 50 of Gnome edotor it says they are available to NO_FACTION you just edit it to make it available to a specific Faction or all if you like. For order foot I beleive column 11 needs to be changed for this (I am not 100% on this one)And Armenian heavy cav.again column 50 denotes who can build the unit it says ALL_FACTIONS you just edit it to say BYZANTINES and that will do it save file and play thats it. let me know how it goes if you need some help you can e-mail me

...it heavily annoyed me that the Armenians and the Turcopoles wern´t available to the Byzantines out of the box
