Hey I don't know if your being sarcastic or not. I didn't make this one a sticky either, or not intentionally anyhow. I don't think I have the authority to do that anyhow but some haven't been used since Dec or Jan. I realize there's some that are useful for the modders like the projectile stats, the LUK map one along with several others but ones like the 2002 hall of fame, conduct message, pics in sigs and such.

on you.

Just to show we listen to our patrons I'll remove this

We understand your request and will try sort something
better. With the comming of the expantion pack
we MIGHT sort another arangement. This is not the first request to sort this yet I have yet to see a practical option suggested.I take it you just want some thined out others want a seperate page others want something else.
I don't know so I'll just go with the flow.
If the flow goes in one direction that is.

Things like admin stickies are present in all
forums and shall stay there until the
Administrator aks us to remove them.

Maybe we could make you elector of dead stickies
in the dungeon. http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Thanks for the suggestions and they have been noted.

regards

We had this same problem with too many stickies on the Call-to-Power II forum at Apolyton. The problem there was with mods, but that doesn't make a difference here.

What they did was, the forum admin posted links to the old stickey threads, with a short description of the linked files. That way, you just had one stickey, and interested visitors could still find all the useful files.

I really wish you guys would consider this, since the stickies take up over half the page.

a reasonable idea,
BUT the reason for all the editing stickies is the number of threads that got started on the same topic, time and again i would be forced to merge and edit threads to gather all the data into one thread,

we have found that sticking these threads reduces the number of repetitive questions and replies,

i have "released" a couple of stickies, if anyone wants to write guides from some of the old stickies i can add them to the FAQ section, and "release" them too...
