Due to lack of time and knowledge in all areas needed, I am putting my Drenai Mod on hold. Due to myself not and lord of Storms(who was helping out) not being able to get LMM up and running with the map and Wellington's lack of support.
So what im proposing is, that since i enjoy creating new units I plan on starting a mod along the lines of the mod that LK started. what the difference is that the units will be from fictional books and series. As some of you may have read i had been doing units from David Gemmell's Drenai Series. I am now planning on starting units from Steven Eriksons' Tales of the Malazan - Book of the Fallen series. Not sure if anyone has heard of it. There are some great units from that series. Then after that i might do units from Raymond Feist Riftwar Saga.
You may ask yourself why do these units, well one because I enjoy making units and LK's mod covered most of the historical ones, and secondly because people may like to use them for mods theyre doing or just in their MTW games. and thirdly in the hope that sooner or later it will be easier and i will have the time to do some more comprehensive modding of MTW. so if anyone has any suggestions for units post them here, the regular stuff is required, eg a description, cost, buildings required and any other relevant info.

I'll suggest a few:
Tsurani infantry: needs enough morale to never break in battle and a penalty against horses. Tsurani generals should also never ransom prisoners. (don't know if you can alter the message that pops up to say that you recieved x amount of money selling captives into slavery instead of ransom)
Hamoi Tong: Assasins. Either battlefield or agent. Maybe an upgrade from regular assasins with an automatic star or 2 when trained. (don't know if this is possible either)
Keshian dog soldiers: better than average morale, cheap to train with excellent attack.
Novindus mercenaries: Piss poor morale with good attack/defense. Maybe only available in Inns?
Armengaran infantry: Excellent attack/good defense with maybe +8 morale
Eledhel Archers: Kickass archers. Good attack. decent morale. fast. (Can they be especially effective in the woods? Also, can their stamina be far abnove average?)
Dwarven infantry: Axes. Whatever else feels appropriate
Moredhel Infantry: Good attack. Good morale.
There are far more than this...I didn't even touch cavalry.
Too bad we can't make our own historical characters here. What stats might you give Guy du Bas Tyra?
I'll edit this post with more info when I get a chance to crack open the books and see what numbers feel the most appropriate. If anyone else wants to supply numbers for any of these units, be my guest.
