TW Multiplayer Campaigns

Salutations Brothers of the Sword,

I come with word from TWC, After TriforceV came in search of building bridges between our communites I come in front of you to do the same.
My name is grouchy13 I have been on the M2TW Hotseat scene for awhile, during this period me and some of my fellow TWC community members have actively sought to increase the number of TW Multiplayer Campaign players residing in TWC's Hotseat Campaign Forum.
We have achieved this in the following ways active advertisement of our community on our TWC sigs, The Hotseat Community awards where players decide who fits the bill for a number of titles such as

A: Most Powerful Warlord-Most Successful Commander

B: Best Hot-seat Administrator-For the Admins who run the Hot-seats and keep things moving

C: Most Chivalrous Leader-The Commander who most displays the greatest Chivalry while commanding their faction.

D: Dread Warlord-The Commander who is the most despicable and the most dreaded.

The initial awards were a resounding success with some of the catogaries recieving over 25 votes.
We have also started Hotseats consisting of all new players to build their MP Campaign experience in relaxed enviroment and also started the Immortals Hotseat a collection of the best players from the various KGCM, Stainless Steel and Vanilla Hotseats.
Over the past 6 months the community has grown considerably from 15 to 20 active players in around 15 active Hotseats to around 35 to 40 players in 30+ active Hotseats.
We are currently running Hotseats utilizing RTW, RS I , RTR PE and M2TW , Kingdoms , Stainless Steel 6.2 & 6.3 , KGCM and Retrofit Mod Hotseats.
As we look to the future and the transition of TW from hotseats to MP Campaigns we have created an area for the informal arrangement of NTW MP Campaigns which is meeting with some initial success and will make provisons for such area on the release of S2TW.
We are together then united for our love of TW, whether it be in a M2TW Hotseat or a NTW MP Campaign we are a rare bread who recognize that the truest test of a TW player is in a Campaign against fellow Human Players.
Let the matter of us being on different sites not prevent us from sharing experiences of our many campaigns and wars together as kindred spirits, brothers of the sword you are not alone please look thorugh your sister community here,

Hi grouchy13! Welcome to the Org! Thanks for posting here and making the effort to build a bridge.

I'm very glad that your community over at the TWC is growing, that's great news and quite an achievement given the time that has passed since the release of the game. Congratulations! Our own little hotseat clan has not experienced the same growth but I would say has remained steady for the past couple of years (thanks in part to some exiles from TWC from time to time!)

As you can see we generally have two or three large hotseats running at once and usually a full-scale TW RPG in the sub-forum.

Our games tend to be a bit slower than yours and the culture here is a little different in that many of our players focus on RP and storytelling alongside the competitive hotseat play.

Having said that I think there are some very good players here and if you join one of our games you should find it an enjoyable and challenging experience.

And one thing that it seems we are all agreed on is that playing TW games against humans is the best TW experience!
