Will EB2 be steam compatible?

Before I buy the Med2 Gold edition on steam I just want to know if the EB2 will be steam compatible? Forgive me if no decision has been made yet.

Well, I have EB 1.1. that I use with a Steam install of RTW Gold. Works fine.

afaik, there is no M2TW-K mods that didn't compatible with steam
