Hi, I'm playing a game as the Romans and keep getting a CTD on the AI turn when a Ptolemaioi army tries to attack Petra. The Sabeans control it and built a wall so the Ptolies have been besieging it, but every time I hit the turn button it gets to the Ptolie's turn and the animation for the army attacking the city shows and the game crashes with no error messages. Anyone know what could be causing it? I would appreciate any help!

Is there a revolt going on in Petra?

Could there be a cloned FM there (use the generic script to have a look at the garrison)?

Have you tried adding units to Petra's garrison to prevent it being taken?

There definately isn't a revolt there ( I gave walls a 250% happiness bonus to prevent that because it kept annoying me), but I'm not sure about the cloned FM. How exactly do you use the generic script to check the garrison? Sorry for being a noob.

Press F1 and click on the question mark. That should pop out the advisor and do the usual "show me how" to activate. You can't switch if back off again without quitting and reloading, though.

Ok, I managed to get a spy next to Petra and saw something wierd. There are 2 units each of Sabean citizen cavalry and assilinmodarra that for some reason have the generic militia picture on their unit cards. I got a diplomat there and tried to bribe the city to me so I could delete them, but the game crashed as soon as the city changed hands. I also tried to buy it from them, but it crashed again at the same point. There aren't cloned FMs in the city (there aren't any FMs or generals at all), so I'm not sure what to do to get rid of the crash.

Update: Nevermind, I think I screwed something up when I was doing a little modding. Seems to be okay now.
