Any idea what causes this? I used to have it all the time and I still get it sometimes, usually if I'm tired or have a headache.

It seemed like the sort of issue google-fu would resolve, but all I get in stuff on redness of the actual eyes, one guy asked a question noting the exact same thing as me but got no answer.

Also, I will surely get trolled for this, but I only notice this on unhealthy ginger people, like myself. My parents had a friend who got septicaemia and was ginger and had the red under eyes all the time, same goes for one of my brothers friends who looks positively malnourished. He reminds me of me at his age, I had anaemia then and was very unhealthy and had it all the time, now I am healthier I only seem to have it sometimes.

I know asking medical advice is frowned upon but this isn't really a health issue, I'm just wondering because a couple of times now at work people have pointed it out and asked me if I'm tired.

Is this still being caused by an underlying health problem?

Sounds a bit like an allergic reaction. Swelling? Sore? Itchy?

Can't believe I'm doing this, try this http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41y2GyZXvNL.jpg And yeah could be that gingers have it worse because they have such sensitive skins, even 'transparent' in the way that you can see vains

Rhy, have you thought of, you know, asking your GP? Better make use of the health service while there is one...

Bro, you don't live in the US. Go see a doctor, ok? At least Vuk had legitimate financial concerns about it when he was asking for medical advice over his stroke, but you have no excuse. Now get your ass to the doctor's office.

Exactly. People that go to the doctor over a cold are why more people have to die for lack of treatment for real health problems, they are all paid for with the same money, and there isn't an infinite amount...

Besides you could be REALLY unlucky if your doctor turns out to be Rory, wouldn't dare bothering him unless some of my limbs magically disappeared. My old doctor had very little patience with people wasting his time

The medical paradox, people are more likely to feel sick if healthcare is good. People start thinking of their doctor as their personal healthcare-coach. They are doctors they study 12 years to become one.
