That was really unexpected, iPhone games can be quite fun but a lot of gamers still seem to underestimate them and think they're just useless fluff, which they aren't of course. I've only gotten Cut the Rope recently of the ones he reviewed and now I'm thinking maybe I should try some of the others, too. :2thumbsup:

Oh yeah, RealRacing for example seems more fun than DIRt 2 which I recently bought during the steam sale. It's less physics and less graphics (but still looks and feels very nice) but it's also less useless cutscenes, less "pimped" to be "cool" and less cars sliding on sand like it's ice, actually there is no dirt road but anyway, wanted to post a headsup on iPhone and perhaps smartphone gaming in general.

Anybody else here who plays games on a (smart)phone now and then?

Yes I got sucked into this whole apps thing... I'm ashamed to say I went a bit crazy and after two months ended up spending $40...

A lot of games are worth it though, and its not quite as serious as the DS or PSP, I think the iPod is a great gaming device and much more innovative and accesible then the other two - whih is the whole purpose of handheld gaming! Some good games as well. I've been playing Game Dev Story (Heavily recommended... highly addictive it has kept me up into the early morning several times) mainly but there are quite a few good time-waster apps and some serious gaming ones.

If you like racing games I'd recommend Reckless Racing. It's top down but really fun and has some nice graphics/physics.
