Need help with the screen adjustment

I just started playing the game, but have a problem with the screen. its not in full screen but instead there is the gameplay in the center and black areas on left and right sides, making the center look small. Ive tried making it wide screen in the options section but nothing happens. Anyone know how to fix this?

not sure watsup but it happens to my cus and best friends computer. My cus and i have the same one but it works fine on mine.
