Yeah, its surprisingly well done.

So true, especially as QXC had to overcome some banelings today versus Sen in the FXOpen.

I presume no one else here follows e-sports?

Air rush would have killed them before they build so many banelings in the first place.

Everytime I have played, it is has rarely lastest any great length of time and ends within 10 minutes. Either I totally wiped them out with my rush, or they wiped me out with theirs.

Sounds like neither of you are defending that well.

Is it things like MM, 5rr, korean 4gate, normal 4gate?

Not really, as it is impossible to adequately defend at all, unless you are terran and do the whole supply/barracks at the entrance, but even then, doesn't stop my Dark Templar rush or my flying rush from destroying their base. Only way to adequately defend at all is to do the right counter to their rush. Do the wrong counter, you are dead.

You must be playing noobs. Turrets behind your mineral line with stimmed marines stops any of that flying crap. A missile turret near your wall and scan stops the dt. Dts are really horrible if your opponent has any sort of adaquate detection. After the first failed rush, just get a raven and the dts become useless. You just have to pay attention and scout your opponent to see what they are doing.

Wallins against P/T are falling out of favour, due to late game sniping.

A dt rush? If I'm T, scan. P, obs. Z, overseer. I should have scouted it quite easily, and by the time its up, I could have pushed your front. 1 base DTs isn't great.

Phoenix play is going to get bigger though.

You can defend by simply having more stuff than them. Have you heard of Day9? It seems like you'd benefit a lot from watching him.
