I downloaded and patched vanilla rtw to rtw 1.5 and installed europa barbarorum and the 1.2 patch. I have been playing but today when I went to open the game this message came up.
EBTrivial Script Error (error 2:the system cannot find the file specified.
I open the game by clicking on EB single player and it has been working just fine until today. Why has this changed and how can i fix it? I have been playing with Baktria and would like to continue soon!
Moving to the bug subforum.
Welcome to EB, BTW ~ .

:help:
Ive also had this problem, installed Rome: Total War with the 1.3 and 1.5 patch, then installed EB, I get the same trivial script error, it also freezes at the load screen, where it says Europa Barbariom, a mod for rome total war.
Any help with this would be great.
Thanks
Welcome to the .Org, and to EB ~ .
Since you've started another bug thread, I take it this problem has been fixed?
Hello there,
I´am new to this forum and got the same problem. I´ve installed EB1.1 and EB1.2. As I wanted to start the game, this error appeart to my screen. I have been searching in the bug subforum, but my english isn´t that good. So I did not find any solution. May be I overread it, so please help me by posting the solution here, or guide me to the answer.
Thank you for your help

Welcome to the forum!
Be sure to don't miss the EB-FAQ (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=84854) and the frequent encountered issues (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=103681).
Into which location did you install EB and the Trivial Script? If either of those is installed into Program Files try to run it with admin-rights under Vista/Win7.
As a short fix, create a new shortcut to Rome-TW.exe and open the settings dialog. Edit the target line by adding -mod:eb -show_err -ne
