I'm a huge fan of Scythia, their campaign is fun and they have good units, my favorites being the noble archers and the heavy cavalry. Once i won a battle with only 1 casualty with 3 units of horse archers. The Thracians tried to attack my cavalry, but they were routed before they made it there. when I started to attack their infantry the entire army broke into a rout, the only bad thing was that more than half of the army escaped to the capital, but was eventually destroyed in the siege. Anyway I think Scythia is Epic, and they can win battles outnumbered and escape with few casualties. So what do you think about Scythia and their units?
I have found them to be well worth playing. Horse archers rule. But, I have always been an infantry kinda guy, and scythia leaves me a little disappointed there.

I like to have a well rounded army, so factions like Macedon, Egypt, Rome and Britannia really take preference for me, but I've found those eastern factions like Sycthia and Thrace are fun to play just for a while for something new and different

Scythia is certainly a lot of fun. Very good archers, both the Chosen Archers and the Scythian Nobles. So-so infantry, though...the axmen barely hold up against falxmen and the like, and get trashed by Roman legionnaires. Certainly a challenge.
