My computer has been attacked twice (that I know of) while I was browsing this site, and this site alone. I am worried

Not really, the culprit is either the user, using Internet Explorer or it was one of the advertisements that litter around the board from Atomic Gamer.

Probably an ad. Happened for me a while back, but disappeared after a while.

Check if the the ads display properly and/or if it's the same add (hover for link name), when the problem shows up.
