Hey guys,
Just got ETW off steam during the sale, and just wanna say that I'm hooked! My biggest concern is the sporadic CTDs. I've developed a method of alternating between quick save and custom save so that in case one file gets corrupted, I can always go back to the other one. I have to save like every minute because I have no clue when the game will crash. I've played as long as 30 min, to as little as 2, until I get a random Windows error just saying there's been a problem and windows is trying to fix, blah blah.
I think the crashes come from the autosaves, I'm not quite sure. It doesn't even have an option to turn it off. It's not like I need it since I always either Ctrl+S, or Esc+Save+file. Other than what I think is an autosave problem, I have no idea. My system runs the game pretty smoothly so I don't think it's a hardware issue. It could be a patch issue but I downloaded it through steam and it's set to "always keep up to date." I even tried validating game files and that didn't work. Anyone have any ideas?
