View Full Version : Is it possible to build a foreign temple?

In my Pergamon game, in the capital, I've currently got a small temple of Athena (who was Pergamon's patron god after all). I don't want to build over it with one to Serapis and Isis, but rather then next size up to Athena.

Is there a way to build it with the create_building command? Would this necessitate removing the old temple first?

Is there some other way, if this no longer works (like a number of the console commands)?

The only way I can think of to achieve this is to edit some files. The building-text-file should be enough for the name and description, if you want different bonuses edit the EDB.
With console commands this would only be possible if you change the faction to KH, give it Pergamon and build the temple and then change back to Epeiros.
Though I still think you should use a slightly modded KH for migration campaigns...

You'd have to edit the export_buildings.txt and descr_export_buildings.txt files. Basically the Athena and Sarapis line of temples are actually the same building line but with different faction specific names, descriptions and effects.

I had a horrible feeling it might involve editing files (or faction-switch). Never mind then, thanks anyway.

It's actually very easy to edit the files...
