Curious enough why is it that the other factions build type I government so fast? and battering rams as well when on a siege?

Also i've noticed that some the Romani FM's have 2 gens? Like for Decimus cornelius scipio asina he has both gens cornelia and gens atilia?

I'm fairly sure that the AI builds up so quickly because of the money script. For example, in my new Makedonia campaign Epieros managed to build top tier barracks while I was still building tier 3.

As for the battering ram question, I'm not sure what you mean.

AFAIK, the governments for the AI are placed by a script ( so, not building time at all ).
The speed to build siege equipment depends not only on the size of an army but also on traits and ancillaries of the FM leading that siege. Perhaps there is a hidden trait for the AI FMs, but i´ve never noticed that AI generals can do that quicker, though.
IIRC, this happens through adoption into another gens.

Yes, the AI factions get instant, free governments when they conquer a city.

If the AI didn't have a script for government buildings, they would never build any. The campaign AI doesn't know how to use them to access other building complexes.

I can't say I've noticed anything about the speed of siege construction. Even a moderate stack can build anything it wants in a turn or two and has done so since the original release of RTW.

Also i've noticed that some the Romani FM's have 2 gens?If a character of one gens is adopted into another gens he will have two gens traits. The trait text for one should begin "This man was born into the Gens...", while the other should read "This man has been adopted into Gens...".
