I'm playing Rome Total War whit EB 1.2 (on windows Xp SP3) and the date is always 214 BC it never changes.:help::help:

Check out the EB-FAQ (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=84854) if you are complete new to the mod.

You didn't missed to activate the background-script of EB in your campaign by chance?
Try to not activate it to see what happens.

Upload you save if nothing helps! I'll check it out.
