Consul Cnaeus Cornelius Blasio

I played a Romani campaign some time ago and noticed, that one of my FMs (the startnig faction leader, Cnaeus Cornelius Blasio, I believe) became a consul in the same year as stated in Year in history. Coincidence or scripted event?

It's a coincidence, I am afraid. The offices are not scripted. I guess you could make a case Blasio was destined to become consul another time, but the EB team prefers not to railroad history.
