Glitch....met this one before ?!?!?

I checked a few posts about possible fixes but they seemed rather complicated....so this is my glitch: I installed RTW, EB 1.1 and EB 1.2 with all the adds ( Trivial Script and such )....then naturally I used the single player exe to launch the game....it didn't display any errors but as soon as it entered the game....it exited right away...with no explination !!!! ....any suggestions ???

Start the EB Preferences/Settings and disable movies would by my first guess.
Please read over this guide (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=80270) and check if everything is done properly. If you are using Vista/Win7 don't install into Program Files.

I might have missed on version update of RTW :))....lol....i was so convinced i'd had 1.5 that i didn't bother checking...apparently...i was running 1.0 :)) THX
